Vocabulary

In this last Teisht Vunneydagh lesson we look at basic colours.

Colours can be put with "t'eh" to say "it is" and with "cha nel eh" to say "it's not". They can also be put after nouns (name words) like the words for food and pets we've learned.

Some examples of combinations are below:

t'eh jiarg
it's red
conning dhone
brown rabbit
eeast bwee
yellow fish
ooylyn glass
green apples
cha nel eh gorrym
it's not blue
moddey doo
black dog
garran bane
white pony
