Vocabulary In this lesson we learn to say what day it is. To ask "what day is it?" we say "cre'n laa t'ayn?" To say "it is" we say "she . . . t'ayn" and put the word for the day in the middle. To say "it's not" we say "cha nee . . . t'ayn." (Notice that we don't use "cha nel" here as that was only for "vel?" questions.) The word for "today" is "jiu" and can be put at the end of the sentence, as follows:
