The Manx Language Service

Year 4 is the first year of study for pupils doing Manx. Among other things Year 4 pupils cover the following topics in their Manx classes:

- Say I'm feeling and ask others the same
- Count to 10, say how old I am, and ask others how old they are
- Say where I live and ask others where they live
- Say what food I like and don't like
- Name the days of the week
- Talk about the weather
- Say what activities I do
- Say what I did this week
- Say if I have any pets and ask others about their pets

Pupils keep track of their progress by routinely self-assessing using one of our learning passports (Kied Troailt).
